We are looking for the right individual who has a strong experience within finance and financial management, budget P&L, business control, accounting and auditing and a knowledge of IFRS. If you can describe yourself as an analytical individual who has the self-confidence and drive to be a problem solver, this is the position for you.

As our Finance Manager you'll need to be a team-player in a position that requires a lot of independents. You need to be able to structure and manage your own work rate. Being able to communicate, both written and oral, in English is a must for the job holder.

The job is located in our offices in Hell/Stjørdal in Norway, but you will be interacting with people within the Cavotec system around the globe.

Main tasks & key responsibilities

• Ensure accounts and financial statements are maintained as well as standard accounting practice
• Manage the overall activities of the accounting department to comply with Group Reporting calendar
• Have full responsibility for Balance Sheet analysis and control
• Periodic contacts with audit firm: documentation preparation, on-site assistance
• Perform the daily accounting, payments etc
• Perform and check of VAT Books, VAT Monthly settlement
• Periodic check of depreciation of assets
• Constant contact with headquarter and sister companies - intercompany reconciliations
• Provide key input to the establishment of company accounting policy and procedures
• Responsibilities outside the accountant spec might also be a natural part of the job, I.e smaller tasks related to HR.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified public accountant
• Relevant experience in Finance and accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 5 - 10 years in similar role
