For our customer are we looking for Mechanical Design Engineer
In this exciting position you will do mechanical design and engineering, prototyping and qualification, as well as commercialization activities.

This is a longterm prosject and for the right person it can be a permanet postion.

Responsibilities:

Contribution to develop new technology as part of our engineering group. The tasks involve project work related to the development of robotic equipment for use in oilwells, and include:

• Requirements definition
• Identification of the best conceptual solution to address the requirements
• 3D modelling
• Drafting (2D drawings)
• Engineering calculations
• Building and testing of prototypes
• Experimental testing and qualification testing
• Participation in technical discussions with clients
• Improving existing products

The Applicant:

• You have a BSc or MSc degree within relevant engineering disciplines
• You have experience from R&D / product development (design, engineering, prototyping qualification, commercialization)
• You can relate to a system, its elements, and its parameter-space, and prescribe the necessary integration tests
• You are a fast learner, you can work independently, and you work well with others
• You are structured and systemic, and you are good at communicating
• You speak / write fluent Norwegian and English
• Experience with Inventor / Vault is not a requirement, but will be an advantage
